We are enthusiastic runners who want to provide a great service to the local running community. We offer gait analysis, shoe fitting, running advice or just a friendly running chat. You can try various options on in store and have a short run to see how they feel. If you are new to running we can help guide you through testing and selecting shoes. If you are a seasoned runner then maybe there is something new worth trying which you might not have considered. Come and give us a try your feet will thank you for it!

Creel Jacquard Mesh Upper

Constructed using a breathable creel jacquard mesh fabric, the upper of the Gaviota 5 provide feet with a cosy, comfortable experience. Not only will they provide you a sock-like, secure fit, but the shoes will also ensure an optimal level of air can flow through the shoes, in order to create a breathable, cool experience for feet to thrive. Preventing irritation and abrasion from occurring, the shoes have a plush collar and single-sided tongue gusset, offering improvements in comfort to their predecessors. A heel pull tab provides you assistance with putting on the shoes and completing the upper are recycled laces for a traditional, yet sustainable lace-up construction to help the feet remain locked in and secure, therefore preventing in-shoe slippage from occurring.

EVA Midsole

To provide you plush, comfortable cushioning and exceptional support and stability, the Gaviota 5's have H-Frame technology. The H-Frame technology delivers a stable platform for those looking to prevent and combat over-pronation by using firmer foam on the medial side of the short, in combination with additional rubber for durability for a comfortable, confident running experience. Alongside this, the shoes have a late-stage Meta-Rocker for a smooth ride and additional forefoot support.

Durable Rubber Outsole

Enhancing underfoot stability and traction on varied terrain, the Hoka Gaviota 5's have a durable rubber outsole. The shoes' high-wear rubber compound helps to ensure the shoes have exceptional durability and will provide you grip throughout your run.

Came here for my first pair of running trainers and they were so helpful and patient. Did gait analysis in multiple pairs of trainers and allowed me the time to be 100% confident in my choice. Have done a fair few runs in the trainers now too and they’re great. Highly recommend.

My first visit here to buy some running shoes and the service was excellent. The lady who looked after me took note of my requirements and offered up different trail shoes to try on. I also got to try them outside the shop too. The fit process was good and I found I needed a slightly wider shoe, something I wouldn't have known by buying online
