Ballistic Nylon Upper

Keeping feet protected and comfortable on long trail adventures, the updated Mudtalon V2 have a ballistic nylon upper, which also provides feet with quick drainage for a dry sensation when wearing. This tough upper shields your shoes from being damaged during bumps and scrapes, for a longer-lasting and reliable trail companion. Thanks to the upper's strategic perforations, cool air can effortlessly travel through the shoes, to prevent the risks of overheating and keep feet fresh, so you can tackle long, muddy trails in comfort and with total breathability. Allowing you to tackle trails of all conditions and in a variety of weather types, the shoes feature four drainage holes in the forefoot, meaning water will escape the shoes quickly, preventing sloshing and discomfort during treacherous conditions. Utilising Inov8's unique Precision Fit, NATURALFIT Footshape is secure at the heel and widens at the toes to provide space for your toes to splay naturally, allowing you to reconnect with the ground and achieve your full, natural potential. The precision fit design ensures a more snug, sock-like fit that fell/hill runners are familiar with. A redesigned upper pattern and MET-CRADLE overlay work to lock down your midfoot and heel when you tighten the laces to ensure stability even on rocky terrain.

The most cushioned shoe in the Mudtalon Series, this new generation of the Mudtalon features a POWERFLOW PRO to keep you comfortable and enduring the long run. Adapting to the ground below, the foam is super lightweight to keep you bouncy and light on your feet, with high levels of cushioning to ensure soft underfoot responsiveness, perfect for running over uneven technical terrain. Slightly firmer to increase the shoes' lifespan, the Mudtalon V2 midsole keeps you energetic on long-distance trail runs, bouncing effortlessly with each stride and returning energy to lessen the risk of injury on rugged surfaces. This midsole also features a flexible META-PLATE rock plate, placed between the midsole and outsole. The plate shields feet from harsh, sharp surfaces and protects from tough objects, whilst still being flexible for natural movement of your feet. Finally, a 6mm BOOMERANG footbed adds extra levels of soft, shock-absorbing comfort and outstanding energy return to ensure fresh feet.

STICKYGRIP Rubber Outsole

Improving on their outstanding STICKYGRIP rubber, this updated version provides you with the same ultimately dependable grip and traction, yet has a 36% increase in grip on wet terrain, for slip-resistant stability. This durable rubber ensures you can rely on the outsole of your shoes to last every difficult mile you endure, and holds a solid grip on wet surfaces and slippery rocks. Working confidently with this are aggressive 8mm lugs, a signature of the Mudtalon series. This ensures optimum support when your trail gets steep and the boggiest of boggy, whilst being positioned strategically to shed excess mud.
